Since 2010, Adopt the Arts has worked to enable the next generation of artists and musicians, building music education programs that are sustainable while equipping students with the tools necessary to succeed. Co-founded by drummer Matt Sorum (The Cult, Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, Kings of Chaos), actress Jane Lynch and activist Abby Berman, Adopt the Arts now serves about 4,000 students in Los Angeles as well as California’s Coachella Valley (with a keen eye placed upon further expansion and growth).
